Origin and History
Mount Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School is an English medium school founded in 1972 by the sisters of the congregation of mother of Carmel in collaboration with ACC cement works. Mount Carmel while keeping the high standard in education does not forget the goals to mould the character and personality of the children, to make them conscious of their role in the building of the society, to instil in them their responsibilities towards the country, to infuse in them the higher values of life such as love, peace, justice, patriotism, generosity, service-mindedness and love towards hard work.
The house wise activities, sports and games, literary and cultural programmes, science club etc. play a vital role in bringing out the innate and inherent talents in every child. Value education is given top priority in our school curriculum.
The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. (Affiliation No. 1130017, school code No. 06718).
